Biomechanics Boot Camp
The Clinical Biomechanics Boot Camps are generally run over two days and are aimed at bringing clinicians up to speed on all the latest in lower limb biomechanics and foot orthotics. The course is suitable for participants a all levels. These workshops are run by Craig Payne a senior lecturer and researcher at La Trobe University in Victoria, Australia.

✲ Identify key biomechanical principals in relation to the lower limb.
✲ Discuss the importance of evidenced based research and its applications in clinical decision making.
✲ Recognize the need for further research into not only lower limb pathology but ortho-mecahnical management of it.
✲ Discuss the role of various orthotic techniques in managing lower limb pathology.
✲ Outline the appropriate use biomechanical principals, foot orthoses and interdisciplinary management of complex biomechanical based pathologies.
✲ Outline the basics of applied clinical testing regimes and the importance of choosing correct examination techniques which will aid your clinical decision making.
✲ Discuss the complexities of the conflicting research and its application clinically.
