HOW DO PORTAL BROADCAST?PORTAL education has a team at each conference broadcasting LIVE across the internet to your home or work computer. You watch it from any location on the planet! We go so you don’t have to – we are big believers in CARBON NEUTRAL CONFERENCING.
WHAT IS CARBON NEUTRAL CONFERENCING?It is thinking about the environment before traveling. It is about reducing your carbon footprint by attending some conferences online where you can. You get front row seats, the ability to ask questions as well as massive savings in time and money – oh and its friendly for the environment to!
BUT I LIKE GOING TO CONFERENCES!PORTAL does not replace actually going to the event. We all have our favourite conferences for different reasons, but sometimes it is just not practical to go – so go on PORTAL instead!
SO HOW DO I USE PORTAL?Simple – purchase an event, fill in some details and you are done! You then just click LIVE BROADCAST button and watch it when the event starts!
CAN I ASK QUESTIONS?Sure – we have refined this process in this version of the PORTAL website. You simply type the question and it will get answered by the Lecturer. Nothing could be easier or simpler!
WHAT DO I NEED TO USE PORTAL?A computer (with speakers/headset) and a broadband internet connection. Thats it! If you can watch a movie or listen to music on your computer then you can use PORTAL as well. Oh and we are WIndows 7 and MAC compatible!
