PORTAL System Status

SYSTEM STATUS ICONSThe PORTAL Education website is made up of hundreds of integrating systems. Occasionally these systems require maintenance, need updating or suffer from errors which need to be repaired. The status of the PORTAL website can be gauged easily from the home page. It is represented by different status bars:

When this logo is displayed, it means all major aspects of the site are functioning correctly. PORTAL staff are updating the site, making subtle changes but there are no major system failures.



This logo indicates that one or more of the minor components to the site is not functioning and under repair.




If this logo is displayed, a major component of the PORTAL site is identified as malfunctioning and is under repair. If this logo is displayed, you can be sure PORTAL staff know of the issue and are rectifying it.


Below you will find a LOG of any current issues the site is experiencing. 1st April – 30th June 2010 – Private Membership upgrades. No expected issues with PORTAL site. New coding to be complete and members pages to be launched by 1st July 2010.

13th – 15th March 2010 – Secure Certificate updating as well as changes to member profile section and DFCON Live Broadcast software updates. Users may experience trouble accessing the site early Sunday morning between midnight and 3am. COMPLETE

25th – 27th January 2010 – On Demand Video sections being updated and populated. Users may experience trouble accessing certain On Demand videos during this time. New videos are also being populated over this time period. Site is still accessible. COMPLETE

27th – 31st January 2010 – Members pages overhaul. New features added, site is still accessible, members can still sign up and use site. COMPLETE
