LIVE TRACKING is a feature which PORTAL developed to assist you in claiming continuing education points. This feature enables you to monitor your use of the site, prove your attendance to an event or simply check how many points you have accumulated. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE FULLY UPDATED YOUR JAVASCRIPT TO ENABLE MEMBER TRACKING.



Quite simply it functions in the background and tracks your use of the PORTAL Website. As a member you do not have to do anything to use it – it just works, all the time!



It simply allows PORTAL to prove that you have attended an event. It also allows you to conveniently monitor your use of the videos you have and have not watched – allowing quick access back to any video at anytime.



The only people that can access this tracking data is yourself and PORTAL Support. This data is not shared with any third party or organization unless you give us permission to.



When you register on the PORTAL site you are required to fill in certain details including your location and profession. When you purchase an event (either LIVE or PREMIUM ON DEMAND) the PORTAL website takes your data and matches it against the amount of continuing education points allocated for that particular event. It then logs your progress through that event allocating points depending on how much of it you watch.



Each event is worth a different amount of points. Depending on which country you are from it may also be worth a different amount of hours or points. On the purchase page of each event you will find information regarding ACCREDITATION / CONTINUING EDUCATION POINTS. Members of PORTAL have their own members page which will track their points based on Profession, Location and Event participated in – this is automated.



PORTAL will incorrectly allocate data – it is easy to rectify simply log into the PORTAL Website and on the far right of the homepage under your name click MEMBER DETAILS and change your information.



Simple – just log into the PORTAL Education website and click the GREEN BUTTON saying “MEMBER TRACKING” which is located on the login and homepage (see example button below). This can be accessed at anytime as long as you are logged in to the PORTAL website.





You MUST have your JAVASCRIPT updated for member tracking to occur – if you are not getting tracked correctly please update this IMMEDIATELY by CLICKING HERE. It takes a few minutes for our servers to confirm that you have watched an event – hence it may take a few minutes to update on your member tracking page. If you have viewed an event and it is not being tracked, please contact support@portaleducation.com for further assistance. Please note members tracking was RESET on August 15th 2010 due to advanced changes in the members tracking systems – if you watched an event prior to this date it may not have been tracked or updated. You may simply watch it again to update it in your member tracking page or contact PORTAL Support for more advice.
